What customers/branches supplies Krofian Company with machines and equipment?

Our customers are manufacturing firms, which decided to make their technological processes more effective by automation. We have most experience from automotive and electrotechnical industry, nevertheless our reach is wide, through food processing and manufacturing to pharmaceutical industry. Our machines are working in Czech Republic, in Slovakia as well as in many EU countries.

What machines Krofian Company offers?

These are namely single-purpose machines, assembly lines, manipulators and testing devices.

How long does it take to work out a particular offer for equipment delivery?

Time to work out an offer depends on technology complexity and the order level. For simple projects with clear specifications the time of working out the offer takes about one week, for more complex projects it takes about 2 to 3 weeks; for large projects (technological complexes) the time changes considerably more.

What are usual delivery times, by what are they mostly affected?

Small projects 8 to10 weeks, middle-sized projects 12 to14 weeks, large projects 4 to 6 months. The definite delivery time always depends on actual contract contents and can be shorter or longer than the above mentioned periods. As a rule, delivery times are mostly affected by availability of 3D models and customer samples, special (non-standard) purchased components delivery dates, by length of test run before shipment and naturally by overall complexity of the technology.

How is the project control ensured?

Every project is assigned a project manager, who is responsible for ensuring project fulfillment in the time and quality. The project manager is also the main contact person for the customer. For his work the project manager makes use of Navision information system, where all important project milestones can be monitored and checked.

What software do you use for design and planning?

Designers are working with program SolidWorks, electrical project designers with program EPLAN. For production planning and control we use ERP system NAVISION by Microsoft Company.

What works do you provide internally and what externally (in the form of subdelivery)?

Mechanical construction, electrical project design, parts production, fitter's works, mechanical assembly, electrical assembly including switchboard fabrication and programming we provide from our own sources. Heat treatment, surface treatment, machining (partly - larger parts), electro-erosion machining we ensure by co-operation.

How do you ensure the quality of production process?

All the technological and production processes are run in accordance with the standards corresponding to certified quality management based on ISO 9001:2000.

How do you provide for customer service during and after warranty?

The Krofian Company provides for customer service during and after warranty for the period of machine life. Our standard response time to a service event is 24 hours. Our customer can notify us of a failure on our HOT-LINE - a service line, open 24 hours a day. After an agreement with the customer we are capable to ensure even shorter response time (settled by service contract).

How do you provide for spare parts delivery?

We keep large store containing most frequently used parts (pneumatics, sensorics, drives). In case we don't have the part on hand we ensure its delivery directly from the manufacturer. Parts manufactured by us we provide by our selves.

What warranty you provide for equipment delivery?

Guarantee period for delivery is 24 months. Guarantee for purchased components is given by guarantee provided by individual manufacturers, but not less than 12 months

What all is a part of standard delivery?

Customer obtains the machine with accompanying documentation, which contains: equipment operating and maintenance instructions, spare and expendable parts list, assembly drawings, electric / pneumatic/ hydraulic circuit diagrams, BOZP, risk analysis, CE declaration of conformity, original electrical audit report, software backup.
